dc.description.abstract This study provides a comprehensive analysis of Rwanda's approach to combating cybercrimes within its digital ecosystem. By examining the country's legal frameworks, including the Law on Information and Communication Technologies and the Law on the Prevention and Punishment of Cybercrime, alongside the operational effectiveness of enforcement units like the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit and the Rwanda Investigation Bureau, the research evaluates Rwanda's capacity to address diverse forms of cyber offenses. While acknowledging significant strides in aligning national laws with international standards and fostering collaboration, the study identifies persistent challenges such as legal gaps and the need for enhanced technical capabilities. Recommendations center on bolstering public awareness, strengthening technical expertise, fostering international cooperation, and ensuring regular updates to legal frameworks to effectively confront evolving cyber threats in Rwanda's dynamic digital landscape. en_US
