Abstract:
As the networking of devices is becoming an issue regarding the file sharing remotely and security
concern as the world is growing digitalizing all thing that the implementation of “Campus
network management system”. This study aims to support the institution operational needs, in
the way of network management in terms of file sharing University to communicate through mail
messaging.
To collect data we have used interview, documentation, and observation techniques, for system
analysis we have used prototype for well understand the issues that are being faced by the
University and have a kin eye to mitigate this issue by implement the solution of through PPDIOO
network methodology for system design and implementation and optimization, understand and
discover weakness and limitation of the current system. Tools used router, switch, personal
computer, access point, server, telephones.
As conclusion we improve performance with faster and reliable connectivity for students, teachers,
and staff members. Enhance network security, protecting against potential cyber threats and
unauthorized access. In this project we design university network using Cisco packet tracer.
We use console password and SSH protocol to ensure a safe and secure of data transfer the report
of this study will be available in university library ULK Gisenyi campus.
Future works the configuration and specifications are for the initial prototype and can further be
developed and additional functionality can be added to increase support and coverage of our
existing network. Key word: Campus network management system.
