dc.description.abstract |
The research purpose was to examine the human resource management and employees’ performance, case of Bank of Kigali PLC (2017 - 2022). The specific objectives of the study are to demonstrate and identify Human Resource Management practices which affect the employee’s performance, to assess the level of Employees satisfaction by Human Resource Management practices and to assess the result of Human Resource Management practices on the performance of Bank of Kigali PLC staff. The study used a descriptive research design in which both qualitative and quantitative techniques were utilized. Target population of the study comprised 697 staff who works in Bank of Kigali PLC; sample size is 254 employees by selected randomly. The researcher was distributed the questionnaires by using self-administered structured questionnaires and the data collected. The data was processed by use a statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 20.0 was used to analyze the data collected through the questionnaire. The relationship between variables was established by use correlation model. The findings based on objectives which determine the human resources management practices in Bank of Kigali PLC, The good working conditions affected employees performance indicated that the respondents agreed that the positive working condition important for me to perform well on my job with a mean of 3.2835 and standard deviation of 1.04747. Respondents also mean that the work environment can elicit greater commitment in me to perform my best with a mean score of 3.2795 and standard deviation of 1.03907. Human resource management effect on career development indicated that the respondents agreed that the career development is given adequate importance in your bank which helps achieve my goals with a mean of 3.5276 and standard deviation of 0.84654. Respondents also mean that the work environment can elicit greater commitment in me to perform my best with a mean score of 3.5276 and standard deviation of 0.84654. |
