dc.description.abstract This project focuses on developing an IoT-based health monitoring system for elderly individuals in Rwanda, utilizing advanced sensors and IoT technology. Key sensors include the MAX30102 for heart rate and oxygen levels, DS18B20 for temperature, MPS20N0040D-D for blood pressure, and MPU-6050 for activity tracking. Data from these sensors is collected via Arduino and transmitted to a cloud platform for storage, analysis, and anomaly detection. The system provides real-time alerts and insights for caregivers through an accessible interface, aiming to improve elderly care, promote independent living, and address local healthcare needs while ensuring data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. en_US
