Abstract:
This study presents the Digitalization of Vehicle Road Documents System using
Innovative Technology with a focus on the Circulation Road Police - DRC. The purpose
of this research is to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of vehicle document management
through a web-based system integrated with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
Objectives: In this study, we are following to develop a web-based platform for storing and
managing vehicle documents; To integrate NFC technology for easy access to vehicle
documents; and to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in streamlining document
verification processes.
Methodology: The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative
and quantitative research methods. The system was designed and developed using a user-
centered approach, involving stakeholders from the road police department. Data was
collected through surveys and observation to assess the system's functionality and usability.
Major Findings: The implemented system stores vehicle documents and allows road police
officers to retrieve document information using car plaque numbers and NFC readers. The
integration of NFC technology simplifies the verification process, reduces manual errors,
and improves the efficiency of document management.
Conclusion: The use an automated system with NFC technology has streamlined the
process, enhancing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the road police operations.Key Recommendations: Expand the system’s functionality to include additional vehicle-
related services; Conduct further training for road police officers to maximize the system’s
benefits; Explore the integration of advanced security features to protect sensitive
information.
