dc.description.abstract This project of Doctor Appointment Management System (DAMS) is a software application that helps hospitals to manage the scheduling of appointments for patients. Every day, people all around the world try to make their lives more comfortable through technological advancements. Nobody anticipates wasting their time, effort, and money by waiting in line at a counter especially during their hospital visits. The primary objective of this research project was to design and implement an effective Doctor Appointment Management System within the context of Hôpital Central de N'djamena. Whereby, the system aims to regulate appointment of patients based on doctors’ availability, hospital specialist scheduler. By implementing DAMS, healthcare institutions can streamline their appointment management processes, improve patient experiences, and optimize resource allocation, ultimately leading to more efficient healthcare delivery. Waterfall software development model was used which is carried out within different phases following each other from analysis, designing, coding, testing and finally its deployment. The researcher gathered data through the observation, interview and documentation methods as data collection tools. Tools and programming languages used were HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT and PHP, MYSQL for DATABASE.  In conclusion, improving patient experiences, optimizing resource allocation, and lowering operating expenses, the Doctor Appointment Management System has transformed how Hôpital Central de N'djamena conducts business. The case study that is presented here is evidence of how DAMS may revolutionize healthcare environments. It emphasizes how crucial it is to customize these systems to the unique requirements of healthcare institutions and underlines how they could enhance the delivery of healthcare. en_US
