Abstract:
The aim of this study is to analyze the Contribution of loans management to the performance of commercial bank in Rwanda, case study: bank of Kigali, period: 2019-2022, to analyze the effectiveness of loans management to the Bank of Kigali Plc, to examine the contributions of loans management to the performance of Bank of Kigali Plc, to determine the relationship between loans management and performance of Bank of Kigali Plc. Apart from general introduction this research subdivides in four different chapters. First chapter is general introduction the second chapter is review of relate literature and present the description of conceptual review of the study and then gives conceptual framework. The chapter three is research methodology it contains the techniques and methods of data collection. Chapter four is presentation of research findings and discussion, this study end by general conclusions and Suggestions. The chapter one literature review deals with definition of key terms or concepts, it contains theories related to the impact of credit management to the performance of commercial bank in Rwanda and finally presents the conclusion of the conceptual framework of the study. Chapter three Research methodology refers to a set of methods and techniques that are used when studying a particular subject or doing a particular thing of work. Methodology deals with the methods and principles of research process that are used in the study together with information or data analyzing ad interpreting it. In order to avoid the pitfall inherent in one specific way of collecting data, Research methodology includes the planning, structuring and execution of a research, with the emphasis on the actual research process.The chapter four presents data, its analysis and interpretation. It point out the details of information from the field, chapter verified all the hypothesis of this study. With data collected Table 4.1 shows that from 2019 to 2020 there has been an increase of deposits 148,112,462 Frw corresponding to 18.72% and 2020 to 2021 there has increased by 183,683,365 Frw corresponding to 18.84% and from 2021 to 2022 there has been an increase of deposits 100,693,946 Frw corresponding to 9.36%, the increase of deposits is the results of many factors effective Loan management applied by the bank. Suggestions of this study Based on the finding the researchers would suggest that the bank of Kigali could establish the followings issues that help to minimize risks: trained employees in credit department.
