EFFECT OF EMPLOYEES MOTIVATION TO THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN RWANDA. CASE STUDY: EQUITY BANK RWANDA PLC (2021-2023).

Abstract

The general objective of this study was to investigate the contribution of employee’s motivation to performance of financial institutions in Rwanda. The specific objectives of study are to determine the effectiveness of employee’s motivation in Equity bank Rwanda Plc and to examine the contribution of employees’ motivation to the performance of Equity bank Rwanda Plc. Under the first objective, the researcher analyzed the effectiveness of employee’s motivation applied by Equity bank Rwanda Plc, the results collected from the respondents showed that the training programs at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc are effective in enhancing employee skills, the salary offered by Equity Bank Rwanda Plc is competitive compared to industry standards, Bonuses at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc are provided fairly based on performance, allowances provided by Equity Bank Rwanda Plc are sufficient for covering work-related expenses, Job security at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc contributes to employee motivation, working conditions at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc support a productive work environment, opportunities for promotion at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc are clearly defined, employees feel appreciated for their contributions at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc. 84.5% of the total respondents strong agree, the management at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc provides regular and constructive feedback to employees and the motivational practices at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc are effective in improving employee performance. High employee motivation leads to better customer service at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, Motivated employees contribute to higher productivity levels at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, Employee motivation has a positive impact on achieving organizational goals at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, Employee motivation improves teamwork and collaboration at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, Increased employee motivation leads to lower employee turnover at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, Motivated employees are more likely to stay with Equity Bank Rwanda Plc long-term, Employee motivation enhances innovation and problem-solving capabilities at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc, The overall financial performance of Equity Bank Rwanda Plc benefits from high employee motivation, Employee motivation positively affects the bank's reputation in the market and Effective employee motivation strategies contribute to achieving high performance standards at Equity Bank Rwanda Plc.
