Regarding to the effectiveness of services delivered by U-SACCO, respondents confirmed that the respondents confirmed and agree 100% that types of services offered by U-SACCO are training, loans and savings. The findings shows that the respondents (100%) agree that U-SACCO trained its employees on how to effectively communicate with customers and has helped to retain customers, U-SACCO trained its clients on how they would start business, Training by U-SACCO trained me how to maintain a record of my business transactions and U-SACCO makes Regular training of clients in terms of using loans and projects management. The study found that the respondents agreed that U-SACCO provides training on record keeping, on how to communicate with its clients and how to utilize loans granted. The findings reveal that U-SACCO is only keen on marketing their services possibly to increase their clientele with no regard to training them. Regarding to the effectiveness of services delivered by U-SACCO, respondents confirmed that the level of education of children of the people has been improved after getting a loan. Before getting a loan the children accessed on education were 10.7% at the level of very good, after getting a loan have become 55.9%. 33.4% were at good level before getting loan, after getting a loan have become 36.6%. 55.9% their children were poor, but after getting a loan the poor decreased and became 7.5%. As indicated in above table, U-SACCO has a crucial importance to customers to participate in future development of the country by giving them the opportunities to pay themselves and the schools fees for their children. Findings shows that members of U-SACCO before joining SACCO, the 15 members representing 27.8% have saved 15000 - 50,000 RWF per month while after joining SACCO, 20 members representing 32.2% have saved 15000 - 50,000 RWF per month which shows that savings per month increased after joining SACCO. Also, finding shows that members before joining SACCO, 12 members representing 13.3% saved 50,000 – 100,000 per month while after joining SACCO, 14 members representing 15.6% saved 50,000 – 100,000 per month. The findings shows that members before joining SACCO, 27 members representing 30.0% saved above 100,000 per month while after joining SACCO, 34 members representing 37.8% saved above 100,000 per month. The results in table 3.13 shows that amount of money U-SACCO members saved increased after joining SACCO, which is shows social economic development status of SACCO members after joining SACCO because the level of savings increased after joining SACCO. |
