Abstract:
This project, ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR TECHNICIANS WITH DISABILITIES is
designed to help industrial operators who has physical disability to control switching for industrial
installation and machines. This action will be done by having an application in my smart phone
which will help to control that system, it requires a phone command and the system receiver that
command which will electrically connected to the whole installation of industry to act and give a
feedback message on action done which is seen into the phone. This project was designed using
some electronic devices, components and materials from implementation part. And in report
(book) part there is its theories. And there is some challenges in this project like, Accessibility
that duficulty in designing tools that accommodate a wide range of disabilities and another
challenge is the high cost of assistive technologies limits access, and there is method that was
helping to disigning project user centerd design and involving technicians with disabilities in
development process Surveys and Intervies for collecting feedback from users on existing
technologies another process is field testing like to Evaluating assistive devices in real world
technical settings , that project has many objectives like increase Accessibility make technical
tasks more accessible to all technicians, regardless of disability,.improve safety for reducing
workplace hazards throught adaptive, and I have to promote Inclusion for to Ensure full
participation of technicians with disabilities in technical roles. That project it improve
Performance: Assistive technology helps technicians work more independently and efficiently.
Increased Accessibility Devices improve access to technical tools and work environments and
Higher Job Satisfaction Technicians report improved confidence and job satisfaction.
